SITUATION has three versions which increase in complexity with each version. The first is the stand alone version which has no GPS feed. The second is the single tracking version which has a simple GPS feed. The third and most complex, is the multi-tracking and messaging version. All customization and hardware is extra.

Static

Based on a single computer or installed on a Local Area Network (LAN) this configuration allows several people to use location information. Updating is manual.

Single Station

With a Global Positioning System (GPS) feed to your computer, an object's movement can be tracked on your SITUATION map. The single station arrangement is ideal for monitoring an object's process through an area which may have restrictions. For example, a tree falling machine could be monitored to ensure that it stays within approved boundaries. SITUATION could be programmed to notify the user if a machine leaves a designated area.

Remote

This configuration involves a form of messaging and GPS hardware. The tracked object sends a message to the base station which contains the GPS results as well as any specific message the remote site sends. The base station displays the object and its new location. This configuration works well for taxi or police dispatchers.

Peer to Peer

This configuration has messaging, GPS hardware and a display in each vehicle. In this scenario each vehicle is also a base site and can monitor all others in the system. The Peer to Peer configuration is extraordinarily flexible and is ideal for a company that needs to keep a number of mobile employees informed of current asset deployment.
